Marketing Manager

Forever Yours Lingerie has been in business for 26 years on the historic one-way of Downtown Langley; with a new boutique location in the Burnaby Heights!

Our team is looking for a self-starter that can work independently, collaboratively, and provide clear daily communication so we can effectively achieve the marketing goals set out for each year. You’ll work closely with our graphics and promotions manager along with our Web Department. You’re focused, but able to switch gears on a moment’s notice with eagerness and enthusiasm. Most importantly – you’re organized! Managing busy calendars, workflows, and to-do lists are your love language.

This position will require you to work full-time out of our Langley, BC location and commute to our Burnaby, BC location periodically to assist with things like (but not limited to) event set up, social media and photography.

In this position, you’ll be expected to:

  • Implement strategic brand decisions that align with our goals when deciding where to allocate the marketing budget (which you will manage).
  • You have experience negotiating contracts with external media outlets (print, digital, etc.) You might even have existing contacts and relationships in those industries.
  • Participate in weekly marketing meetings to strategize and execute campaigns and sales, brainstorm themes and messaging and set measurable goals. 
  • Participate in monthly department meetings, summarizing the marketing departments performance and outline upcoming plans with fellow department leaders
  • Implement a Google advertising strategy (proven success and experience with this will be considered an asset when applying). Including campaign set up, budget management, maintenance, and strategy.
  • Be a passionate user of social media and willing to participate and contribute to our active social profiles (this means wearing and promoting our products).
  • You have experience and are up to do with current trends on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. YouTube will be considered an asset
  • Implement strategic online strategies including SEO, blog writing and other concepts you may suggest improving our website’s ranking and web presence
  • Be involved in event planning and execution (Fashion Shows, In-Store events)
  • Influencer Management including sourcing, outreach, and setting up collaborations and giveaways
  • Able to work within a team and individually
  • Able to work out of our Langley, BC location full time Monday - Friday with flexibility to work weekends and evenings for events if needed
  • Lastly, you’re familiar with the FYL brand and mission

Additional experience and skills that would be beneficial:

  • Experience with programs like Canva or Photoshop or Lightroom for quick on-the-fly edits
  • Success and experience with Facebook Ads Manager
  • You’ve worked with Influencers and/or other local businesses. Experience sourcing, developing and maintaining these relationships would be a key asset.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Using MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams) to complete monthly reports
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and pivoting direction as needed
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Expereince managing timelines and tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Shopify or Shopify+
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling apps like Later or Planoly
  • Retail and/or sales experience is a great value
