Virtual Fittings FAQ
Q: Do I have to pay for a virtual fitting?
A: Yes, we do charge a $15.00 fitting fee for your appointment as this is an additional service that FYL is offering to our valued customers, and we want to ensure that we have the appropriate resources and staff allocated for the appointments both in-store and online. This fee is non-refundable for missed appointments; however, if your appointment is canceled or rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance, your appointment can be changed with no penalty.
Q: How long is a Virtual Fitting?
A: Virtual Appointments have a 30-minute time slot to allow for optimal one on one time with a Fit Specialist. It is not uncommon for us to have back-to-back appointments, which means your punctuality is important to us. Please be aware that we will only be able to accommodate 1 customer’s virtual fitting, per 30-minute time slot. If you are looking to book virtual fittings for more than one person, please book the correlating number of back-to-back virtual appointments and we will be happy to assist your group.
Q: How do I prepare for my Virtual Fitting?
A: Once you book your Virtual Fitting Appointment, you will need a soft/ flexible measuring tape, a safe and secure connection to internet and a private setting for your appointment time. We are using GoTo Meeting for our appointments which does not require you to download anything or register for an account. GoTo does require that you access their platform through the Google Chrome browser, so please make sure that you are using chrome when trying to access your appointment.

Q: What does the Process of a Virtual Fitting look like?
A. During your appointment time, your Fitter will walk you through a proper measurement and go over what you are hoping for in style and budget, as well as educate you on the best style and size for you. We want you to feel comfortable during this process and are wanting to make your experience similar to visiting us in person.
Q: I don't want to take my bra off. How can I do a virtual bra fitting if I don't feel comfortable showing my breasts?
A: We would actually prefer that you keep a bra on for the duration of the appointments! Not only for discretion, but this makes it easier for the fit specialist to analyze your fit and see how it can be improved. If you're feeling a little exposed, have a tank top pulled down and leave it around your waist so we can see your bra, but your still a bit covered. We aren't here to judge, only to help! We see bodies of all shapes and sizes and we're happy to help them all. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible, and if that means wearing a tank top, positioning the video with only your torso (no face), we're happy to accommodate. If changing between bras, please just step off camera.
Q: Am I required to make a purchase after the Virtual Fitting?
A: Our goal is to find you bras that will work for you and we will make specific suggestions after hearing your preferences, concerns, and measurements. Although we hope that you shop with us there is no obligation to do so after attending a Virtual Fitting session.
If you decide you would like to purchase by the end of your Virtual appointment, our team can send you an order invoice which provides a secure link for you to navigate to our website where you can checkout efficiently. We also do provide the option of a follow up appointment (no additional charge) to assess your purchase to make sure it is the correct style, fit and most importantly, that you are comfortable!
Q: What if just have questions for a fit specialist, rather than a full bra fitting?
A: We are happy to answer any quick questions that you have via phone during our regular business hours! Just give us a call 604.532.1933.

Q: How secure is your virtual fitting? How do I know that my information is safe?
A: Upon thorough investigation, we found that GoToMeeting is one of the most secure forms of video conferencing on the market. This platform provides a user-friendly experience while also having end to end encryption for safe and secure video calling. It requires you to use Google Chrome as your browser or their App, which is available for smartphones and computers.
It offers end-to-end encryption of the data transmitted. This means that only the users (our fit specialist and yourself) are able to partake in the exchange of information, and the transmission between the two devices is unreadable by other programs or devices. Q: Can I do in-store pick up instead of having the bras sent out to me?
A: Absolutely! When your bras are ready for pick up, you will receive an email notification and you can come visit us to grab your order.
Q: Further Questions or Concerns regarding your Virtual Fitting?
A: You are welcome to email the address provided on your booking confirmation, with any follow up questions or concerns. Please note, this inbox is monitored by a variety of our Fit Specialists who all have knowledge to help you. You may not get a response from the same fitter who you originally met with, but our goal is to have your questions answered efficiently by an educated individual.
